Volunteer

Welcome to The Institute for the Redesign of Learning (IRL) and thank you for volunteering your time and talents to benefit the people we serve. IRL is a private non-profit organization serving children and adults with complex learning, behavioral, and emotional difficulties.

The majority of the volunteer opportunities at IRL are available in the Early Education program where you will have the opportunity to work with both typically developing children and those with learning and/or emotional disabilities. These students range in age from six weeks through six years old. We hope that you will find delight and fulfillment in being part of helping our extraordinary students reach developmental milestones.

If you would like to share a specialized expertise such as creative writing, fashion, design, dental hygiene, etc., we would love to hear how your skills can benefit the older students and adults in our various programs as well.

Please complete the following application and return it along with a copy of your TB test results and confidentiality agreement. Note: if you are over eighteen years of age, a LiveScan fingerprint background check is required at your own expense.

If you have questions, please contact Edward at eamey@almansor.org.

Thank you for your time and support. We hope you enjoy your time volunteering at the Institute!
