Early Intervention Program provides assessment and direct intervention services to Head Start children, families and programs at 107 sites in the North and east areas of Los Angeles Unified School District. This project is a collaborative effort between the school district, the county Head Start grantee, and IRL/Almansor, as a private contractor. The majority of children served in this early intervention program will not require further remedial services once they enter elementary school.
Community Outreach grants focus on at-risk and incarcerated juveniles and in-service education for criminal justice professionals:
Juvenile Justice (AB90) Program is administered by the Los Angeles County Probation Department and accepts referrals for direct intervention services from probation, courts, families and community agencies. Each youngster qualifies for up to fourteen hours of individual assessment, counseling and/or advocacy services suited to his or her particular needs.
