The Institute for the Redesign of Learning's Almansor Center, a leader in special education in Southern California since 1974, has established a unique specialty program
for students with autism spectrum Disorders (ASD) based on the belief that extraordinary students require an extraordinary program. We recognize that people with autism spectrum disorders are, by their very nature, unique. The educators, clinicians, and administrators of the Institute for the Redesign of Learning embrace the idea that we must approach their educational programming with creativity, flexibility and expertise. Through the use of evidence-based models coupled with innovative and evolving approaches, the Almansor ASD School strives to empower students to take charge of their learning in order to build on their strengths and recognize their full potential.
